Education

Attending The George Washington University was a dream come true that propelled me into a fast paced career working in DC politics. My academic programs and extracurricular activities equipped me with the tools needed to analyze political happenings, connect voters with their elected officials, and craft a winning message.
Political Communcation

B.A. in Political Communications

My undergraduate coursework focused on the principles of strategic political communication while exploring the ethics, theories, and real life application of the field.

The School of Media & Public affairs is the only program of its kind in the nation's capital of politics and media. The school's access to top-tier networks of industry professionals sets it apart from traditional collegiate learning environments.

Having learned directly from professionals in the field, I was able to effortlessly transition from theorizing politics in the classroom to actually practicing it out in the real world.

While taking political courses in the nation's capital, I had the incredible opportunity to sharpen my creative skills at the Corcoran School of Art & Design.

The faculty at the Corcoran kept me on my toes throughout the duration of the program, teaching me that there's always tweaks to be made to a project. The program strengthened my attention to detail and trained me in the Gestalt theories of perception to design.

Below are just some of the many projects I completed during my time at the Corcoran.

GW Campus Leadership

My learning experience at GW extended far beyond the classroom and was enhanced by the many hats I wore as a prominent student leader on campus.

Planning a diversity summit, giving campus tours to prospective families, managing University social media platforms, volunteering in the DC community, and mentoring first-year residents as an RA are just some of my favorite memories at GW.

These experiences enhanced my collegiate experience and gave me professional skills that I still use in my day-to-day work.
In my role as VP of Public Affairs in the GW Student Association, I had sole ownership over the organization's social media presence. Under my management, the Instagram page saw a 100% increase in both following and engagement.
Similarly, I oversaw the social media presence of the nation's largest chapter of College Democrats while serving as VP of Communications. As an affiliate of the DNC, I was able to practice strict attention to brand standards in this role.

M.P.S. in Political Management

As part of a combined B.A. and M.P.S. program, I continued my education at GW by enrolling in the GW School of Political Management. This industry-leading program is built to enhance the political expertise of working professionals in the DC area through real-world application of course material.

My studies concentrated primary on the management of nonprofit organizations, successful political strategy, and using data to target potential voters.
